Erasmus+ "Live Mobile, Eat Healthy, Catch Quality" - INFORMATION 2nd PRIMARY SCHOOL OF AGIOS NIKOLAOS, CRETE
The 2nd Primary School is one of the five primary schools in the city of Agios Nikolaos. It is located in a central point of the city and easily accessible. Our school was built in 1965 but renovated and modernized in 2013. The facilities display high quality design features that promote enjoyment, inspiration and belonging to the wider school community. The building design promotes active, student-centered learning for all students through the creation of flexible, functional spaces that support contemporary learning and teaching practices. It has 15 Classrooms, Outdoor basketball and sports court, Library, Computer lab, Art Workshop, Music Workshop, Science Laboratory, Multipurpose hall, English Language Classroom, Class for additional support. In total, the school has 288 students, among whom are several foreigners. There are three classes for the First Grade, two for the Second Grade, three for the Third Grade, two for the Fourth Grade, two for the Fifth Grade and three for the Six
